Eileen Hayes

Eileen Hayes is the Executive Director of Michigan Faith in Action (MFA). She officially joined the staff in 2016 as a community organizer, after nearly ten years of volunteer leadership through her church’s local organizing ministry. In less than a year Eileen was promoted to her current position. Eileen received her formal undergraduate education from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and her Master of Fine Arts in Digital Cinema (ABT) from National University in California.

Eileen is a long-time member of Quinn Chapel AME Church in Flint, MI. Her church activities have included several leadership roles; she is a Steward and the Chair of Christian Social Relations; the President of the Chancel Choir, and the President of the Lay Organization. Eileen is particularly proud of the work she accomplished as the former Digital Media Arts Director of QCASP?s award winning Project Citizen: Youth Perspectives, an after-school program challenging and broadening young minds by introducing them to social issues that can be powerfully addressed through public policy.

 

Luke Allen

Luke Allen is the Lead Organizer for Michigan Faith in Action (MFA). Luke comes to MFA with eight years of experience in community organizing and public policy. He spent five years with The Harriet Tubman Center in Detroit. At Tubman, he founded the Metro Coalition of Congregations in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, which pursued successful campaigns to reduce foreclosures, expand Medicaid, and improve regional transit. Luke went on to act as Tubman's Director of Statewide Organizing. After spending a year as executive director of Michigan Interfaith Power and Light, Luke has spent the last two years working at Michigan State University's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research as a Policy Fellow, while completing his Master's Degree in Public Policy. Originally from Bear Lake, in rural Northern Michigan, he currently lives in Ypsilanti with his wife, Alex, and dog, Doxology.

 
 

Jeremiah L. Davison

Jeremiah L. Davison is a Digital Organizer for Michigan Faith in Action (MFA). A native of Flint, MI, Born and raised. Jeremiah moved to Atlanta, GA in the early 2000s with his family where he currently resides. Although, reside in Atlanta, GA, Jeremiah always makes his way back to Michigan frequently to help organize community events with Michigan Faith in Action. In addition, he also since 2020 has been working with his company to influence numerous Churches and Faith Organizations throughout Michigan in helping to develop, grow, train, and mentor in the areas of Digital Media and Ministry. Some of those churches includes Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church (Flint, MI), Vernon Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church (Detroit, MI), & Ebenezer Ministries (Burton, MI).

Jeremiah is the Director of Operations at Multiband Studios LLC. A Production Company dedicated to bringing high quality & innovative production to Faith Organizations, Theatre, Film, and Live Entertainment. 

In Addition to Advocating through Digital Organizing and supporting Faith Institutions, Jeremiah also is an advocate through the art of Theatre. He is also a theatre artist ranging in the areas of Directing, Sound Design, & Producing. He most recently directed The World Premiere of Wrong River at the Flint Repretory Theatre in Flint, MI. A magical play based on an African-American family and their perseverance in the midst of the water crisis. Davison has worked and continues to work with numerous theatres around the country and has had the privilege of Producing & Directing various short film projects.

Education: BA, Theatre-University of West Georgia; AA, Theatre- Georgia State Perimeter College.

Jeremiah is super appreciative of the Michigan Faith in Action family and looks forward to continuing progress within his City of Flint and the State of Michigan through his Digital Organizing and the Arts!
