Volunteer With us!

seeking volunteers in all of Michigan’s nine geographical clusters. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Phone Banking, a form of outreach where we make phone calls to potential supporters to raise funds, get people to volunteer or attend events, or canvass for a particular cause/initiative.

  • Text Banking, a form of outreach where we send text messages to potential supporters to raise funds, get people to volunteer or attend events, or canvass for a particular cause/initiative.

  • Truth & Justice Tuesdays, community members, clergy, lay leaders, grassroots and other concerned leaders from across the state make visits to the capitol to voice the concerns of the people directly to leadership.

  • Lobby Legislators, communicating directly with any official in the legislative or executive branch of the District government with the purpose of influencing any legislative action or an administrative decision.

  • Start or work with a Justice Team, to identify social justice issue that you're specifically concerned with Healthcare, Education, Racial Inequity, Voter suppression, etc.)

  • Start or work with a Rapid Response team, taking action when immediate response is needed to contact an elected official or sign petitions
